THE REINFORCEMENT program
The Artists’ Foundation is pleased to have been chosen as the only organization in Quebec to provide the financial support of the Canada Performing Arts Workers Resilience Fund.
Dedicated to artists and cultural workers in the performing arts, the REINFORCEMENT program offers a Financial Support Fund, a Psychological Support Fund and a Legal Counselling Fund.
The three measures of the REINFORCEMENT program are funded by the government of Canada with the Canada Performing Arts Workers Resilience Fund (CPAWRF) through the Department of Canadian Heritage.
The Artists' Foundation
For more than 35 years, the Artists’ Foundation provides assistance to professional artists who are going through a difficult period. The most supported artistic professions (in descending order) by the Foundation: actors, musicians, singers, dancers and choreographers, stage technicians and circus artists.
Since April 2021, in addition to offering financial assistance, the Artists' Foundation also made available a Psychosocial Support Fund for artists and cultural workers in the province of Quebec.
In the past year alone, the Foundation has granted nearly 3,000 donations to artists and cultural workers working in more than 40 fields of artistic practice. During this period of uncertain times, the artists can turn to the Artist's Foundation with confidence.

How do I know if I can apply for support?
The multiple relief funds managed by the Artists’ Foundation have different eligibility criteria. By visiting the official website of the ARTISTS’ Foundation, it is possible to learn about the different funds available, their respective eligibility criteria and finally to determine your admissibility.
